James Cavaliere - I
ran my own pool business, CAVALIER POOLS INC from 1986 to
2004, building inground steel pools and fiberglass pools, as
well as service pools, opening and closing pools and daily
maintenance, repairing pools and also installing aboveground
and semi inground pools. I have been in the pool business
since 1981 to present and I am an expert at all phases of
pool building, maintenance and sales, as well as chemicals
for keeping pools clean and clear. I also have experience in
the spa and hot tub side of the industry as well. I opened
up Long Island Fiberglass Pools Inc in February of 2005 with
my partner Rocco Abbazia, where we specialize in the selling
and installing of fiberglass pools. We have the exclusive
rights to the sales of Viking fiberglass pools and Alaglass
fiberglass pools here on Long Island and the New York area.
Rocco Abbazia - I am a Huntington native, I started
in the pool business in 1979, working and learning the trade
for a local pool builder. Four years later I started my own
company Coastal Pools and installed hundreds of steel wall
vinyl liner pools that are still standing today. My company
built new pools and rebuilt wood wall pools with steel
construction. Attention to detail and personal customer
service was the cornerstone of my business. In 2002 I
observed a one piece fiberglass pool at a trade show and saw
the benefits of owning this type of pool. Long Island
fiberglass pools was formed with my friend and longtime
business colleague James Cavaliere. Many challenges were met
